How to Control Moisture Indoors and Prevent Mold Growth
Maintain 30-50 Percent Humidity
As weather changes, it is important to keep the inside of your property at a certain level. On top of weather, there are some major systems within your property that can alter the humidity of a room, including; dishwashers, bathroom steam, washer and dryers, and more.
Reduce Water Build Up
Water build-up is a great source for humidity and growth. We recommend that you ventilate any water-focused rooms, try to make sure that your shower is dry after use, wash shower curtains, and wipe bathroom tiles.
Ventilation is Key
If there is no proper air flow, mold will grow or continue to grow. To keep your ventilation at its best try leaving doors open, use the vent fan in the bathroom, and make sure that your clothing dryer is vented outdoors.
